From segmentation to copywriting to design to building nurture tracks, you will be critical in establishing a communication strategy that engages our current members and attracts new members. We are looking for an amazing new team member to help drive the development and implementation of marketing programs that support the Credit Union’s strategic plan. Under the general direction of the Director of Marketing, this role creates and guides member communications and marketing operations related to financial products and services, compliance and membership/account information.





    • Manage all member communications, largely via email, direct mail, statement inserts, and business unit letters and forms, in line with business needs while maintaining brand consistency across all assets.
    • Develop content strategy as it relates to member onboarding, cross-selling and campaign promotions.
    • Oversee personas and journey mapping, as it relates to lifestyle and segmentation strategy, to inform content, discussions and buying opportunities.
    • Implement and conduct marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM work to track programs, campaigns, assets, member activity and leads.
    • Align closely with business partners such as retail, mortgage, investments, lending, business, operations, and member services to execute business development plans.
    • Partner with business intelligence analyst, member experience analyst, Database Administrator (DBA) and Technology to develop data list pull criteria, as it relates to member communications. Also maintain understanding of data queries, processes and governance.
    • Assist with writing and editing advertising and marketing material (e.g. promotional literature, direct mail, email, merchandising, etc.).
    • Integrate closely with other areas of marketing (e.g. digital marketing, events, social media, public relations, etc.).
    • Incorporate credit union policies and procedures to ensure all marketing-related activities conform to applicable regulatory and credit union mandated standards.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    • Experience in marketing automation (Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, ActOn, etc.) and email marketing is required.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred and 4-5 years of previous experience in a marketing department.
    • Ability to organize and manage budgets of overlapping projects and initiatives.
    • Strong attention to detail, data flow logic and proactive nature is essential.
    • Thrives in managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and high expectations.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with people at all levels inside and out of the organization.
    • Proven ability to perform and apply design skills across multiple channels including web, traditional and digital.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of HTML coding.
    • Previous experience within a financial institution with product knowledge and development experience is preferable.
    • Ability and willingness to work weekends and travel regularly within Oregon and SW Washington.
    • Light physical exertion and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
    • Valid driver’s license.
